I am the cover artist for CrossTalk magazine, a journal for Defense Software Engineers. Each month I'm given a theme, and I come up with three or more different designs. A committee reviews the designs, makes a selection (sometimes with modifications) and together we tweak the design until we get to the finished product. The themes can be very challenging, but ultimately this is one of my favorite projects each month. It continually causes me to stretch my creative muscles and I enjoy trying to reinvent myself by experimenting and trying new styles.
